The safety clinics and progression in ice will be given by the ECEM ( Escola Catalana d’Esport de Muntanya ); ECEM located in Pont de Suert has extensive experience in the organization of courses on ice climbing, mountaineering, ski mountaineering and rock climbing. The geographical environment: Situated in Pont de Suert, we are in a privileged setting for the practice of mountain sports in the Pyrenees, close to Aigüestortes National Park, Vall de Boi (20 km Knights) where There are over 180 waterfalls of ice and some 500 routes between 20 and 1,000 m on a magnificent granite, all surrounded by the emblematic peaks Besiberri, Comaloforno, Punta Alta Montarto and 6 peaks over 3,000 meters.
Next, also on the ski slopes-Boi Taull, easy access to Live ravines, among others Peramera Erta or accessibility to the limestone walls of the Pic de Sant Cugat, Sierra de San Gervás or Montrebei, sectors that combine sport with more varied and full channels of up to 1,200 meters, make our center a strategic base camp for enjoying our sport

The facilities

The CFTE – E. Pia and the  ECEM have in Pont de  Suert modern building equipped with 4 own soundproof classrooms, workshops, technical offices, 2 dressing rooms with showers, library, computer room, equipment room with air dryer, and a multipurpose room open space of 3,500 square meters with parking. The climbing wall, located 200 meters from the school inside the center, with 150 m2 scalable volume presents shapes of plates, cracks diedres and collapsed. Faithful imitation of natural rock, captures all levels of difficulty and variety of techniques and is equipped with a side staircase leading to a higher platform where anchors can make all the practical exercises with rope, both of autorescat as progression, with different inclinations

All courses are conducted by professors mountain guides (UIAGM) EEAM teachers, technical officials and sports graduates with degrees in specific areas with professional dedication.
